AASIS Service Center 

The AASIS Service Center (ASC), an office of Information Services, is responsible for ensuring the Arkansas Administrative Statewide Information System (AASIS) and the Planning, Budgeting and Administrative System (PBAS) comply with and support policies and procedures promulgated by the DFA Offices of Budget, Personnel Management, Accounting, State Procurement, and the Division of Employee Benefits.

On behalf of the Department, the ASC provides user support and training for approximately 30,000 state employees and over 200 state Agencies, Boards and Commissions.

AASIS users and developers tend to share a common question: “How can AASIS help us work smarter?” Those of us at the AASIS Service Center believe our technical development staff is second to none, but we know our greatest resource springs from our ongoing dialogue with AASIS users across the state. The employee who asks “Why not?” may well be a leader for positive change in their community; the employee who challenges the AASIS Service Center with this same question may well catalyze positive change across the state.
