Teenage Parents

If you are a parent under the age of 18, you are still responsible for the financial and emotional well-being of your child. All rights, responsibilities, and laws apply to you.

As a minor, you will need to work with your parents, guardian, or an attorney to take the actions necessary to make sure your child gets support. Once you reach the age of 18, you will have to take these steps yourself for your child.
