Effective immediately, the Contract field in IT0001 (Organizational Assignment) offers two additional selection options.

TTFT 1000 hrs

Used when an extra-help employee transfers to a full-time position.

Transfer to PT

Used when a full-time employee transfers to an extra-help position.

 

One of these two options must be selected when performing a Transfer action (Transaction PA40) where the action reason code is either

 

(04)      Extra-Help To Regular/Hourly or

(05)      Regular/Hourly To Extra-Help.

 

This ensures automation in the creation of the appropriate Adjustment Reason (IT0378) to determine an employee’s eligibility or non-eligibility for benefits.

 

If neither option is selected, a manual process is required by the agency’s benefits representative.
