Functional enhancements to the vendor search tab Vendors by Additional Criteria in vendor master transactions and several vendor-related financial accounting transactions offer more productive searches for vendors.
Specifically, results for the search tab Vendors by Additional Criteria now display the additional fields Name 3, Name 4, Central Deletion Flag, Central Posting Block, and Previous Account No. The inclusion in the search output of the fields Central Deletion Flag and Central Posting Block assists with identifying blocked and deleted vendors among a group of vendors having the same name. Additionally, the field Previous account No makes it much easier to find the new vendor number created to replace a former vendor number blocked or marked for deletion.
