It can be difficult to attend training in the summertime, so we want to remind you that we have many classes available online for your convenience. Materials Management-Purchase Order, Purchase Order, and Outline Agreement are described below.
The Materials Management-Purchase Order course demonstrates the materials management process related to the procurement of goods and/or services with a purchase order when paying for those goods and/or services through transaction MIRO (Logistics Invoice Verification).
The Purchase Order course is a series of five online courses including:
• 01 Purchase Order Process Overview
• 02 Create Purchase Order Standard
• 03 Purchase Order Revise and Customize
• 04 PO Reconciliation and Reporting
• 05 Create Purchase Order Simplified
The Outline Agreement course demonstrates the materials management processes related to procurement through three types of agency-created outline agreements, change order text, display, various methods of output to vendor, approval and release using workflow. You will also learn to identify released purchase orders against outline agreements.
Reminder: AASIS Overview and Basic Navigation I (AOBN I) is a prerequisite for all other AASIS courses. You must have completed this course within the past three years before you will be allowed to register in another course. To meet this prerequisite, the AASIS Overview and Basic Navigation I (AOBN I) course is available to take online. Find AOBN I under “AASIS New Users.”
