Effective immediately, a change in the AASIS organizational management system hides the weighting percentage field on the master cost center relationship to a position, because this field is not used in AASIS to allocate personnel costs. This means the weighting percentage field will not appear on the master cost center relationship to a position when using these functions:
• Change
• Display
• Copy
• Delimit
• Delete
The weighting percentage field will be reflected on the master cost center relationship to a position while using the Create function and will allow any entry on the weighting percentage field, but the system will save “0.00” only. To hide this field when using the Create function, take the following steps:
1. Enter “A” as the Relationship type.
2. Enter “011” in the Relationship field.
3. Select Enter.
The weighting percentage field is reflected on the master cost center relationship to a position when using the Overview function, but the system will reflect only "0.00" from this point forward.
In order to provide for allocation of personnel costs other than those designated by the master cost center on infotype 0001 (Organizational Assignment), enter a cost distribution rule on a position using infotype 1018 (Cost Distribution). A cost center and internal order or WBS element can be used in a cost distribution rule with a percent of cost to be allocated for a specified period. If an employee is non-exempt and time is to be allocated to different cost centers, internal orders, or WBS elements, this costing information can be entered directly on the time sheet to the associated hours.
