Effective immediately, maintenance access to the Employment percent field on infotype 0007 (Planned Working Time) is not permitted when using transaction codes PA30 (Maintain Master Data) and PA61 (Maintain Time Data). Instead, all changes on the Employment percent field must be completed through transaction codes PA40 (Actions) and PA42 (Fast Entry).
When performing a PA40 action, the end user must save changes to the Infotype 0008 (Basic Pay) record in order to ensure synchronization of these percentages.
This change supports accurate employee pay by keeping the Employment percent field on Infotype 0007 synchronized with the Capacity utilization field on infotype 0008 (Basic Pay).
