Recent system modifications now require the selection of a business area for transactions CATS_APPR_LITE (Time Approval), CATA (Time Transfer), and PT60 (Time Evaluation). Selecting by business area limits the number of records accessed, which improves system performance and efficiency with fewer locked or inadvertently processed records.
AASIS users will need to delete existing variants and create new variants by January 3, 2011. All old variants created prior to this change (including those with business areas) will be deleted automatically on that date.
In order to create a variant, take the following steps:
1. Enter the desired selection criteria.
2. Click the Save icon. (The Variant Attributes screen appears.)
3. In the Variant Name and Meaning fields, type over the existing text with a short name and description for your variant.
4. Click the Save icon.
