This office is responsible for policy and legal functions of the Revenue Division and directly supervises two sections. The Hearings and Appeals office conducts administrative hearings concerning state tax assessments, permit suspensions, or denials of tax refunds. The Problem Resolution and Tax Information Office reviews taxpayer problems and takes prompt action to resolve those problems and responds to taxpayer information requests.
