New Commercial Driver’s License

You will need the following to obtain a new CDL license.

• Proof of Legal Presence (Birth Certificate/Valid Passport/Employment Authorization Card)
• Proof of Identity 
• Completed testing packet from State Police 
• Knowledge to complete Self Certification form in office.

Please be prepared to take a vision exam and a photograph. The federal ID (REAL ID/DL) can be obtained for the same fee with address verification documents. Please see REAL ID for more information.

Renew Commercial Driver’s License

You will need to be current on the following to renew your vehicle registration:

• Current Year Personal Property Assessment with the vehicle listed.
• Personal Property Tax paid up to date.
• Current Insurance on the VIN that meets Arkansas liability requirements.

Congratulations on your purchase! You will need the following to register your new vehicle:

• Current Title signed by seller and buyer.
• Bill of Sale with VIN, Date of Sale, Purchase Amount, and Signatures of Seller and Buyer. 
• Current Year Personal Property Assessment with the vehicle listed.
• Personal Property Tax paid up to date.
• Current Insurance on the VIN that meets Arkansas liability requirements.

• Lien Contract (if making payments)
• Power of Attorney 
• TIMA form (dealer reassignment)
• Odometer Statement
• Affidavit of Alteration
• Release of Lien
• Legal Document to support name change (Marriage license/Divorce Decree/Court Order)
• Death Certificate 
• Affidavit of Inheritance/Letters of Testamentary 
• Tax Credit Bill of Sale
• Surety Bond

The current registered owner will need to provide the VIN or plate number to identify the vehicle. A release of lien may be required if a lien was recorded but not yet released in our system.

• Personal Property Tax paid up to date.
• Current Insurance on the VIN that meets Arkansas liability requirements.

The current registered owner will need to provide the completed bill of sale from the dealership and their proof of identity. The temporary tag fee will be added when the customer returns to complete the registration.

Revenue will need the name and mailing address of the buyer and seller, the property purchase price, and the county where the deed will be filed. 

You will need a copy of the completed lien contract and $1 fee per direct lien.
