ATAP Refund Inquiry

Depending on the filing date it can take some time for electronically filed returns to complete processing & the information to be available on the ATAP website at www.atap.arkansas.gov .

ATAP can confirm that the return was received and accepted for filing, just as with most tax preparation websites & companies, but it is not a confirmation that the return has completed processing.

Processing time for state returns can vary due to several factors during the review and approval process. Our state offices along with tax industry professionals and the IRS continue to improve our processing systems to ensure the safety and protection of our taxpayers against identify theft and refund fraud.

Last year Arkansas Income Tax stopped over $130,000,000 in attempted fraudulent refunds from being issued out.

Our office appreciates your patience as we work to process all of our state income tax returns received by mail and e-file for this tax season.

Once the refund is available, you will be able to track it on your ATAP account.
