Description: 

Specialty plate for any Arkansas P.O.W. or surviving spouse.

Eligibility: 

Issued to any Arkansas resident who was a prisoner of war while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces or surviving spouse.

Requirements: 

Certification of the applicant's former P.O.W. status from the U.S. Department of Defense. A surviving spouse, who is not already joint owner of the vehicle, must present a copy of the death certificate of the deceased prisoner of war reflected on the registration of the POW license plate. One (1) plate issued to the eligible veteran may be reissued to his or her surviving spouse at the regular registration fee for the vehicle.
