Emergency Medical Services License Plate

Description: Specialty license plate for emergency medical technician, emergency medical technician paramedic, emergency medical technician intermediate or a first responder.

Eligibility: Issuance is restricted to passenger cars, all Â½ ton and Â¾ ton trucks, and 1 to trucks used for private transportation only. One (1) ton trucks used for commercial purposes must be registered with a commercial license by gross loaded weight.

Requirements: An emergency medical technician, technician paramedic, and technician intermediate must present their certification card. A first responder may present either a certification card or a statement on letter head from their local Fire Chief that they are a First Responder.
