Merchant Marine Retired License Plate

Description: Specialty license plate for retired United States Merchant Marine veterans serving during WWII.
Eligibility: Issued to any Arkansas resident who is a retired veteran of the United States Merchant Marine and served during the period of October 1, 1940 through December 31, 1945.
Requirements: A copy of release form #DD214 reflecting service in the United States Merchant Marine serving during the period of October 1, 1940 through December 31, 1945.
Issuance: Specialty License Plate Office
Replacement: Specialty License Plate Office
Transfers: Arkansas Revenue Office
Additional Information: Each veteran is limited to only one (1) Merchant Marine Retired license plate at the $4.00 fee. Eligible applicant may receive one (1) additional plate at regular Registration Fees.
