Jonathan Taylor receives appointment to national board
LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas (September 30, 2024) — The Arkansas Governor’s Council on Developmental
Disabilities is pleased to announce the recent appointment of its Executive Director to the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) for a two-year term. This appointment reflects Jonathan’s ongoing commitment to advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities and promoting inclusive policies at the national level.
As a member of the NACDD Board, Jonathan will work alongside leaders in the field to enhance community awareness, support legislative initiatives, and drive positive change for individuals with developmental disabilities across the country.
“NACDD’s mission is to work with State Councils on Developmental Disabilities to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and allies to build welcoming and supportive communities through policy and practice, ensuring that people with I/DD can live a self-directed life in the community,” said Taylor. “I am honored to join the NACDD board and do my part to fulfill its mission across the county and here in Arkansas”.
