SCAM WARNING – Fraudulent text circulating throughout Arkansas
Thousands of Arkansas are receiving a scam text message. It suggests they owe money due to an unpaid traffic ticket or toll. This is an effort to steal personal information and money.
DFA will never send a text regarding a traffic ticket or toll. The scammers have spoofed DFA’s website and added a link to pay them.
Please ensure your family and friends are aware of this fraud, and do not click the link or communicate with the scammers.
