Local Distribution by NAICS (North American Industry Classification System)
The “Local Distribution by NAICS Report” reflecting monthly tax collection statistical information, local tax rebates issued and audit adjustments is available for each Arkansas City and County that levy local sales and use taxes.   The reports are available for viewing and download in both PDF and CSV file formats.

The statistical report classifies and summarizes tax collection and adjustment information for businesses reporting activity for the specific city or county by business NAICS code.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is a standard used by Federal agencies in classifying businesses for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. business economy.  Additional information regarding NAICS may be found at   http://www.census.gov/eos/www/naics/.

After selecting the Local Distribution by NAICS link, key in the specific city or county for which the information is requested.  Locate the monthly file you wish to view and select either PDF or CSV in order to view or save the statistical information.  Files in either or both file formats may be viewed and saved on the computer system of the user.

PDF (Portable Document Format) is a file format used to present documents in a manner independent of application software, hardware, and operating system.   Each PDF file encapsulates a complete description of a fixed-layout flat document, including the text, fonts, graphics, and other information needed for display.  In order to view the PDF document, you user must have Adobe Reader installed on their personal computer.  The Adobe Reader software is available for download with no charge at http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.html.

CSV (Comma-Separated Values) is a common, relatively simple file format that is widely supported by consumer, business, and scientific computer software applications.  Among its most common uses is moving tabular data between programs that natively operate on incompatible (often proprietary and/or undocumented) formats. This works because many spreadsheet and database software programs support some variation of CSV as an import/export format.
