Class M

Ages 16+. The licensee is authorized to operate motorcycles, motor-driven cycles, or similarly classified vehicles.

 

Class MD

Ages 14-15. The licensee is authorized to operate a motor-driven cycle which displaces two-hundred fifty cubic centimeters (250 CC) or less.
